I have great memories of drag racing Sweet Pea! I’m so sorry to hear this ,loved Dosie, always enjoyed talking to her. My Stepfather, Bill Benda, was a childhood friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anello “Ike” Liberati; her daughter, Tia Lynne Liberati; and a brother, Richard Saunders. May time heal your heart and memories comfort your soul. Steve, took him around to the places he needed to go. He will be sadly missed and we extend our condolences to his family. We last saw Bill at the Sons of Italy, among his friends. He always had a friendly smile, ready to talk and have some laughs. A Sons of Italy service will be held Monday at 7pm.
They went above and beyond to accommodate our family and our every want and need during such trying time. Everyone there was incredibly caring and worked diligently to provide our Father a dignified and beautiful service while ensuring our safety the entire time. Personally and professionally I have been dealing with Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral home for years.

After almost a century at this location, our Bellaire chapel has become a spacious, calming, delightfully decorated facility for families to honor their loved ones and begin the grieving process. To just say “Thank You” hardly seems enough to express our gratitude for all of their hard work and caring actions. I would highly recommend the great services and wonderful people at Altmeyer Funeral Home. Frank Gonchoff is absolutely the best! At the most difficult time in my life, Frank went over and above his call of duty to make us feel comforted.
They where helping people in and out of the building, listening to the stories of loved ones, and showed real compassion and empathy toward those morning the loss of my friend. Not only did they show respect for everyone there, they showed a loving, kind heart during such a difficult time. My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of Teri. I was shocked and saddened to hear about her passing, but the memories of Teri as being a wonderful neighbor and person will forever be in my thoughts and heart. She was friendly, humorous, caring, hard-working, kind, and joyful!
November 11, 1925 - December 12, 2022
We shared many laughs and I am so glad we kept in touch after she left. She will be greatly missed and condolences to her family. Fly high Teri and I will smile every time I think of you. The same time, Joanna Fowkes was able to handle the obituary, flower spread and ribbons, choosing pamphlets, thank you cards, procession, absolutely everything through text messaging for me. She was a god-sent, a helpful, compassionate and loving person.

The staff is incredible and goes out of their way to make a difficult time easier. Sending much love and many healing blessings. May there be peace for the family and close friends at this time. This was so unexpected, but it’s a fact of life. Terri and her family are part of mine, as our at east one of my parents was related to Terri’s family.
So it ended up costing me 400 over her dollar policy . Then the day before her service they wanted to move my mother's body mid service to another room . I will never take any one there in the future ! Very sad and disappointed in the overall experience . Our Bellaire location is located on the corner of 37th and Jefferson Street.
The dignity of our loved one who had passed, the attention to details, and the sensitivity of our grieving during a difficult time was very important to us. Our family was pleased with everything done for us by all of the wonderful Moundsville staff. I would thoroughly recommend them for all funeral services. Uncle Leon, Brian, Lori & all of Aunt Judy’s dear family and friends, We share so many loving happy memories of Aunt Judy with the family and those are the times we will hold dear and treasure.

Interment to follow in Powhatan Cemetery. Bill retired from Ormet and was a lifetime member of the Bellaire Sons of Italy, a social member of the Bellaire VFW and a big fan of St. John’s Catholic School where his children and grandchildren attended. Bill was a loyal father and grandfather never missing an event or ball game, and a faithful friend. When asked by a doctor if he could do anything in the world, what would it be, Bill said he would go down town and see his friends. Get a claim number then I was informed I needed to get a short term loan at 5% interest so the funeral home didn't have to wait for the insurance money .
His Mother was a great cook…and his dad was so sweet. Fate sent us in different directions….REST IN PEACE….my first love. This is the fee for the services the funeral home will provide during a graveside service. This is generally required if you will be needing any assistance from the staff for the service. I cannot begin to say enough great things about Steve Jasko, Gene Fahey and the entire staff at Altmeyers.
